Fórum Fantástico seeks to raise awareness of the work of national and international creators and academics in the field of fantasy, as well as to encourage and enrich the study and debate of fantasy in Portugal.
It came about following the 1st Literary Encounter of Fantasy and Science Fiction, organised by Rogério Ribeiro and Safaa Dib at the Faculty of Letters of Lisbon.

In 2025, we celebrated 20 years of existence and in 2027 we will take another big step: we will host EuroCon Lisbon 2027!
